Five freshmen joined the Kingwood Park girls varsity soccer team this year. Each has already made an impact. The freshmen include Sydney Ortiz, Peyton Smithson, Journie Feliciano, Isa Price and Alyssa Toppass. The girls JV soccer team played a tournament game against Spring Woods earlier this month. The Panthers won 4-2. They return to action tonight as the JV and varsity squads travel to Goose Creek. The girls soccer team hosted a round robin with Lake Creek and Barbers Hill on Dec. 16. The girls tied Barbers Hill in the morning 1-1. And they fell 1-0 to Lake Creek.
